What makes this one stand apart from the others is that it has a knob for adjusting the height of the laser. I have tried several other similar laser engravers. I find this laser engraver quite capable. The laser works with LaserGRBL software, a free download. Also included in the box are safety goggles, a sheet to protect your table, and a paper manual. It has a maximum cutting size of 400mmx410mm. It can cut thin pieces of wood, boxboard, or cardboard. It can engrave on soft surfaces such as wood, paper, plastic, or leather. The laser takes 30W input and outputs 5W.
In the kit, you get parts and hardware to make a fixed focus CNC laser engraver, including frame, rollers, belts, circuit board, and laser.
